NECO Literature in English Exam Structure (2025)

The exam consists of two major papers:

Paper 1: Objectives (50 marks)

  • 50 multiple-choice questions.

Paper 2: Essay (100 marks)

  • 4 sections: Drama, Poetry, Prose (Fiction), and Prose (Non-African).
